Ohmegerrd guess what? Finally got this damn review out that’s what! XD Idk why I take years with certain posts more than others but I wanted this one to be special. So as you all already know, I purchased a few things off of Wigland’s shop on rakuten.jp a few months back and I’m finally able to share with you all some of what I got in this post. That’s right, some being just the two wigs because the other junk won’t fit into one post, trust me. There was so much! The reason I ordered these wigs was because since the beginning of my interest in gyaru fashion, I’ve always heard great reviews from people about Prisila wigs in the gal community and I figured I’d try them out for myself. For this shop however you have to use a shopping service which I will go into on another post so please hang tight on that information. I promise I’m not holding out!
Let’s begin the review~
Wig 1 – Malibu TT-005 curls Royal
Doesn’t it look so pretty? 😀
And this it in person. First, in natural lighting:
Right out of the bag, pretty soft curls!
Leave a comment if you like the outfit, hehe ( ・ω・)
Pros ~ This beloved beauty is by far my favorite out of the bunch. I fell in love with the image of the wig on the site and am still in love with it after seeing what it looks like in person. The color is very flattering on me and the length is superb! I’ve always been one to love long hair but to also have it in such a cute style and color blew my mind so I had to get it. I like it because it has an ombred effect and it has cute bangs in the front.
Cons ~ Why oh why must you tangle so much?! DX Well okay, I honestly don’t think this wig would have been nearly as tangled as it is now had I been more gentle with it in the beginning but I guess I overestimated it’s ability to remain tangle free and done ruined it’s original condition but I know it’s not irreversible. One day I’ll spend time to get it back to where it was. It also does make me feel warm at times but that’s mostly because of the extreme heat so I stored it away for now until the seasons change again or whenever it gets cooler. I wore it a lot when I first got it though. But if you’re in a cooler climate, then that might be a huge plus for you!
Overall, this wig is a major win for me. I’m very pleased with it and it’s versatility in how I can wear it with many different styles.
Next up is Wig 2 Sweet Dolly Curl model A-628
Not the color I got it in.
^THE COLOR I WANTED!
In natural lighting:
me and damn cheetah print!
Pros ~ This one is super curly and obnoxiously long which I love! These curls have lasted through an anime convention, a night at the rave, and other outings so it’s doing better as far as staying in it’s original condition compared to the other one. I feel so dolly with this wig.
Cons~ My intentions for the color of this wig was LiCG as you can see on the chart. It looked most like the color that was on the head maniquen so I picked it thinking that was it. Unfortunately, either my monitor didn’t really show it’s true color or that color just was not apart of the selection of color choices to pick, I felt a little sad with how dark it was. But never the less, the highlights make up for it. I love this wig for it’s volume at the top with it’s mini poof. You can easily insert a tiara if you’re doing hime gyaru or a headband with a bow for example for other sweet dolly styles. I was rather impressed with how much volume this had as well.
I got two other hair pieces but I will save that for another post because along with the other free goodies I got with my purchases. Next week is my 20th bday btw guys! lol I was going to post up a wishlist for those of you who wanted to get me a present but it’d be too late to do so now so don’t worry about getting me anything xP But I can’t believe it’s already been two decades since I’ve been alive. Ahhh so crazy. I’ll definitely do a bday post for everybody right before school starts the week after 🙂
Anyway, I’ll show you lastly the Youtube video I did for the review on these wigs. Please give it a thumbs up if you found it at all useful. Thanks!
